Areas of application
The merkur wireless transmission system is designed for use in locations where the installation of a cable-based system is impossible, difficult or simply expensive.
In large-scale composting plants, the temperature of the various humus layers must be measured on a daily basis. This is usually done manually: employees measure and read the temperatures of each single humus field individually. Laying data cables in the humus fields is not exactly feasible: they could be damaged by working machines.
